Making an Appointment

Standard appointments are booked for 15 minutes with the doctor or nurse. This is enough time to deal with only one or two problems.

If you have several problems to discuss, please advise the receptionist so she can arrange for a longer booking. Longer bookings do incur an extra charge.

You will need to book a separate appointment for each relative or family member.

Please advise the receptionist if you need an appointment for a diabetic review, driving licence medical, insurance medical, minor surgery,  smear, immunisation, smoking cessation advice or travel vaccine as these consultations take longer.

Our doctors and nurses strive to provide an effective service. Due to the variety and unpredictability of issues that can arise during consultations your appointment may run late at times.

Choosing your Doctor

We endeavour to give you an appointment with the doctor of your choice as far as is practical. Owing to the busyness of the practice, this may not always be possible. You will be offered the option of an appointment with another doctor or seeing your usual doctor at a later date.

Cancelling an Appointment

If you can't keep your appointment, PLEASE CALL to let us know so that we can give it to someone else. Failure to inform us will result in a $20.00 charge.
